Saturday, December 7, at 9:00 am, Ruskin Memorial VFW Post 6287 invites the
community to join them as they honor Pearl Harbor veterans at The Pier at
Little Harbor, 611 Destiny Drive in Ruskin. Ceremony will include
presentation of colors by the VFW, the Ladies Auxiliary and the Marine Corp
League Color Guards. The ceremony will include playing taps, a rifle volley,
National Anthem and throwing a wreath into the water of Tampa Bay to pay
tribute to Pearl Harbor veterans. Little Harbor will provide coffee by the
Pier and extend a discount of 50% off their full breakfast buffet or from
their menu for all participants and attendees.
